Phoenix Houses of New England is seeking a Director of Program Planning to be based in its Providence, RI regional office. The ideal candidate must be an energetic, self driven, detail oriented individual, possess a Bachelors degree with 5 – 10 years of experience in a related position, knowledge of the substance abuse field and related funding sources, and own skills in developing resources, publishing materials and time management. The Director of Program Planner is responsible for cultivating funding sources, monitoring announcements of grants, contracts and other available funding from federal, state and other agencies, acquiring and managing a library of data and reference materials, and managing the completion of proposals to federal, state and other funding sources in a timely manner. The Director of Program Planning plays a key role in communicating with the senior management in regard to funding availability, submission strategy and strategic planning initiatives.
