Rations/Storeroom Clerk - Ft. Irwin, CA

The Oasis Cafe at Ft. Irwin's Weed Army Community Hospital is seeking a strong candidate for Rations/Storeroom Clerk. Suitable candidate must be able to lift at least 50 pounds unassisted and must be extremely organized. This individual will be responsible for the day to day operations of the storeroom. Duties will include, but are not limited to inventory, ordering, receiving, and fulfilling requisistions in a timely and efficient manner. The storeroom clerk may also be called upon to perform other minor tasks such as assisting cooks with minor preparation. The ideal candidate MUST be able to keep the storeroom clean and organized and must have fundamental knowledge of FIFO and demonstrate sound sanitation practices. ServSafe-certified individuals highly desirable. Expect a fixed Monday-Friday schedule (6:00 am - 2:30 pm), but MUST be able to work an occasional weekend. Candidate must have reliable means of transportation. Excellent pay and benefits.
