Full-time Scheduled hours will include evenings and weekends. Sodexo is seeking a Retail Food Service Supervisor for a campus food service account in Buffalo, New York at SUNY Buffalo State. The Food Service Supervisor will oversee 40-60 employees. Responsibilities: Maintains client relationships and client satisfaction for dining services. Accountable for the execution of retail dining quality by maintaining highest level of delivery. Promotes and supports workplace diversity initiatives. Duties include: Supervises day-to-day work activities by assigning and prioritizing activities and monitoring operating standards. Manages by providing positive and constructive feedback to employees in order to reward, coach, correct and motivate. Ensures compliance with all federal, state and local regulations as well as Sodexo/client policies. Establishes a safe work environment for employees by providing safety-related training. Enforces operating standards, implements quality improvements and communicates them to employees. Ideal candidate will have fast food service management background and strong customer service skills.
Basic Education Requirement: High School Diploma or GED Basic Management/Supervisory Experience Basic Functional Experience Required: 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc. Required: 1 year of lead/supervisory/management experience Sodexo is an equal opportunity employer.
