Credit Analyst- Sysco Atlanta - College Park, GA

Verifies credit standing of customer from information in files, and approves or disapproves credit, based on predetermined standards. Process account inquiries from drivers, customers, Marketing Associates and Sales Management. Input customer accounts into system and verify tax codes, terms, credit, and address. Set up repayment arrangements with the approval of the Credit Manager. Coordinate repayment arrangements with Marketing Associates and follow up on a weekly basis to monitor collections. Assist with resolving customer disputes. Monitor stop list and coordinate the collection of past due balances. Conduct monthly trial balance reviews with Marketing Associates and Sales Management. Make recommendations to the Credit Manager on litigation to recover balances of un-collectable accounts. Assist in collection calls on delinquent customers to reduce bad debt exposure. Maintain open communication with sales personnel. Successful candidate must have a minimum of 1 year A/R, Credit/Collections experience. Exceptional customer service and communcation skills are essential. Must have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with all levels of personnel.
