Job Title: Account Executive III Business Title: Recycling Export Customer Service Representative Division: IPG – Containerboard - Recycling Location: Auburn, WA Internal Salary Grade Level – PL 6 This is a Full-Time, Exempt position Relocation assistance is not available for this position. Preferred candidate has been identified Closing Date: 2 weeks from posting date Internal candidates Customer Service Representative This position is with our Recycling Business and will report directly to our Recycling Customer Service Team Leader for Sales. The position handles all processes and inquiries related to the functions listed below and takes action to resolve problems through interactions with customers, suppliers, sales/procurement, and financial resources. Responsibilities: Provide all customer service activities that support 3rd party and direct sales to assure full customer satisfaction to export customers in Recycling. Markets served include Asia, Europe, Mexico and Latin America. May work directly with sales, sales agents, customers, suppliers and brokers. Key Functions: The export CSR is responsible for the export process (order entry to delivery) which involves managing the following: • Review of letters of credit to ensure compliance, availabilities and allocation process, monthly sales forecasting, export materials inspection process, order entry and tracking, logistics of export activities, safe plant inventory levels, and communications with key customers on behalf of export sales manager • Manage and resolve customer issues (volume, order process, delivery, invoicing, credit, technical support, commissions, performance rebates, and claim resolution) • Responsible for coordinating export booking process with Marine Transportation and cargo management with plants & suppliers. • Communication with internal and external customers including plants, suppliers, freight forwarders, and shipping lines. • Interact closely with marketing, scheduling, credit, export documentation, accounting, technical service and marine transportation departments. Requirements: • Thorough understanding of Inco terms, Freight Terms, and export documentation • Solid experience with Letters of Credit, export inspections process, and domestic and export multi-modal transportation • Demonstrated problem solving and decision-making skills • Highly effective in teaming environment • Performance driven, proficient with working in a fast paced, changing environment • Positive, resourceful, can-do attitude and self-initiator able to work with little supervision • Ability to combine big picture mentality with being detail oriented • Excellent communication and organization skills • Computer proficiency in MS Office applications (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) • Ability to work under pressure, handling multiple tasks in a fast paced environment • Excellent customer service skills with ability to satisfy internal and external customer base • A positive attitude, team player, and strong communication skills both written and verbal • Understands and utilizes problem-solving techniques to regularly identify and solve problems • Attention to detail, accuracy with numbers and timely completion of tasks • Ability to follow a process and take initiative to get the job done Desired Skills: • College degree with emphasis in marketing, business, or international business preferred • Recycling business experience • OEI system experience • Fluent in Spanish – verbal and written |
