Controller - New York, NY

Phoenix House Foundation, a national substance & alcohol abuse treatment organization, is looking to hire a Controller to join our Finance team at the Foundation headquarters in Manhattan's Upper West Side. Reports to: CFO Responsibilities: - Financial reporting, consolidating multiple regions, coordinating annual audits, and maintaining the policies and procedures to insure fiscal controls over payables, billing, and other financial processing. - Lead team of eight degreed Accountants in New York (GL/AP/AR), with other regional finance departments reporting indirectly. Requirements: - Minimum BS degree in Accounting - CPA and/or experience with financial systems implementation desirable - Knowledge of government funding a plus - Minimum 6+ years of experience in public or private accounting - Demonstrated project management skills a plus Travel: 5% (domestic) Salary: $130,000 - $150,000 range, depending on experience Phoenix House Foundation
