Individuals in this role work with GE Contract Performance Managers (CPM), GE Field Engineers, and Power Plant control room operators to provide remote monitoring and diagnostics of Gas Turbine and Steam Turbine industrial power plants. This involves the review of turbine operational data and alarms to identify power plant trends and abnormalities. Essential Responsibilities: The Operational recommendations provided to the power plant operators and CPMs will be accurate, of high quality, and be done in a timely fashion in order to meet customer needs and business goals.
Position Description :
In addition, you will: Review customer operational data in tabular as well as graphical format Analyze operational data in accordance with defined procedures Interface with Product Service Technical Centers of Excellence and GE Power Answer Center for operational issues requiring further technical review Communicate (via email, telephone, and escalation software tools) with external customers and CPM's to ensure operational concerns are fully understood by all parties Provide technical recommendations to customers from known information and procedures Collaborate with M&D Lead Engineers to develop new solutions that meet customer needs Generate and implement new ideas for improved coverage of the GE Fleet of power generation equipment and improved productivity of operations center activities
Basic Qualifications :
