Counselor Aide – (Per Diem) Position (s) located in Carroll County, MD - Arlington, VA

Counselor Aide would provide client supervision to ensure that the program provides at least two awake staff persons on site. Counselor Aide will ensure client safety and support the Life Skills Coordinators and LMHCs in providing client services.

Minimum Qualifications: (Minimum education and experience needed to perform the job adequately.)
Any combination of education or experience equal to the following:

 High School diploma or equivalent
 Minimum one (1) year experience working in a substance abuse treatment setting preferred
 Knowledge of chemical addiction treatment and of 12 Step recovery process preferred
 Certified in First Aid and CPR, Medication Management a plus
 Bilingual (Spanish/English), if applicable
 Possess valid driver’s license and safe driving record
