SALARY/BENEFITS: Salary Band 29-30 based on experience - Employees receive an annual benefit package valued at $22,000.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide design and implementation expertise as well as Level 2/ Level 3 support within the scope of the SAP solution specific to Learning Solution functionality, to include: root cause analysis, configuration, testing, user support and mentoring / knowledge transfer for members of the team. These activities are directly related to the support of solution enhancements, new functionality implementations and “break-fix” activities. This position is responsible for responding to and supporting defects and user helpdesk tickets that cannot be resolved at Level 1, working directly with users to determine problems or issues with the SAP solution and assisting with resolution, either through correction to the SAP solution as implemented or through user education. Maintenance of all documentation directly related to changes to the SAP solution is a primary role, including end-to-end process flows, process documentation, functional and technical specifications and configuration documentation that reflects changes to SAP. Interactive participation as part of a team, or acting as team lead in root cause analysis is an essential component of this role. This position will also be involved in mentoring team members within the SAP Support organization to build SAP proficiency in configuration and integration and on-going interaction with Business / Process owners, specifically around requirement gathering and building functional skills. Additional duties include working with Super Users to build functional skills in Learning Management to support the user community, updating Solution Manager with changes to SAP solution and timely updates to Remedy or other Helpdesk / Change Management solutions. Ensures satisfactory availability of computer systems, response time and on-time recovery of data. This position will work with key business leads and partner to determine identify continuous business process improvements. Effective verbal and written communication with peers and all levels of management is a must.


QUALIFICATIONS: •The successful candidate should have a B.S. degree in Computer Science, Business, Training or related field. •This position requires 5+ years of specific functional knowledge within SAP ECC Human Capital Management and Learning solutions to include: Learning Solution Authoring Environment, Content Player, Offline Player, and the Learning Portal business package and content management system. •Key focus and core skills in the design, integration and configuration of core functionality required within the Learning Solution component and integration to other SAP modules (HR, Financials). •Five (5) years minimum SAP hands-on configuration and 18 months (minimum) experience in configuration / solution development of SAP ECC 6.0 required. •The successful candidate will also have experience with the configuration and use of the qualifications catalog, scales and profiles within Personnel Development, demonstrated knowledge of testing protocols, SAP Client strategies and Release (Transport) strategies for corrections. Business experience in a Training position outside of SAP/IT processing to include content creation, training administration, and course instruction is a plus. A minimum of three (3) full life-cycles of SAP implementation or significant upgrade preferred. Must be able to demonstrate solid knowledge of Root Cause Analysis, and the use of Web Services and SOAP interfaces for integration with 3rd party external online learning content providers. Knowledge of SCORM 1.2 and 2004 standards is essential. Knowledge of computer systems hardware and software theory, practice, and concepts obtained through formal training and experience required. Quickly develops and applies new skills. Adaptable and flexible to the work environment including, but not limited to, handling multiple tasks concurrently, and easily adapting to new assignments, systems tools; produce clear, concise, accurate written communication, clearly conveying thoughts and ideas to peers, management, and customers; establish and maintain positive work relationships with peers; management, and customers displaying willingness to understand diverse points of view; learn and apply new equipment and tools within an acceptable time frame; and assume ownership of assignments, completing commitments on time.
